A former SHIELD agent appears to have gone rouge in tonight's "Eye Spy" episode of Marvel's Agents of SHIELD.

Once trained by Coulson (Clark Gregg), a skilled female agent appears to be behind several difficult and dangerous robberies, according to Spoiler TV. When the woman's identity comes out, Coulson begins to believe that she is somehow being controlled.

A new sneak peek for the ABC program shows the perpetrator, Akela Amador (Pascale Armand) as she single handedly takes down several masked couriers in order to obtain a briefcase full of diamonds. The impressive heist takes place on a crowded subway and culminates in separation of one of the couriers from his briefcase, and his hand.

While Coulson's abundance of empathy and caring will result in him wishing to capture Akela with a minimum amount of force, Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen) will have a different idea. Officially back in the field for the first time, May proves to be every bit the superior combatant Agent Ward (Brett Dalton) has made her out to be.

Speaking of Ward, the intense black ops agent will continue to have his hands full with his polar opposite, Skye (Chloe Bennet). According to E!, Skye will repurpose some SHIELD technology in order to examine Ward's physique near the end of "Eye Spy."

Marvel's Agents of SHIELD airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
