The cast of American Horror Story: Freak Show is getting larger and larger as a noted soap opera actor is joining the troupe of freaks.

American Horror Story co-creator Ryan Murphy announced on Twitter Thursday that All My Children actor Finn Wittrock was joining the cast of Freak Show this fall.

"Thrilled to announce the very talented FINN WITTROCK has joined the cast of Freak Show!" Murphy revealed.

Wittrock, known for his role of Damon Miller on All MY Children, was also seen recently on the first season of Masters of Sex, where he played a male prostitute. He also appeared in Murphy's HBO TV movie The Normal Heart.

There is no word on what type of character Wittrock will be playing in Freak Show.

Wittrock joins an all-star cast in American Horror Story that includes AHS regulars Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Frances Conroy, Emma Roberts, Gabourey Sidibe, Jamie Brewer and Denis O'Hare.

New members of the horror anthology series this season include Michael Chiklis (The Shield) and Wes Bentley (American Beauty).

Freak Show takes place in the 1950s and centers on one of the last remaining freak shows in America. Set in Jupiter, Fla., Lange's character owns the troupe of freaks, comprised of characters played by Paulson, Peters, Bassett, Bates and Conroy.

American Horror Story: Freak Show is set to premiere in October on FX, though the network has not yet announced a specific air date for the series' fourth season.
