Mike may have to do whatever it takes to stay in the game now on Survivor: Worlds Apart.

Mike is now one of the final 6 castaways on Survivor: Worlds Apart, alongside Carolyn, Dan, Roney, Sierra and Will. While the latter five have been in an alliance with Mike now ostracized, the latest vote saw both Carolyn and Sierra voting out Tyler with Mike, sending Tyler to the jury.

With cracks forming in the alliance, Mike still has a shot of making it to the end. Survivor host Jeff Probst talked about this in his latest interview with Entertainment Weekly to preview next week's episode.

"Mike has no option as we've left him, other than to break something open or continue to win," Probst explained. "The game, I guess it's maybe not any different than any season in that you start to feel-not paranoia, but the tightening of a body. Mike has the advantage of being able to play loose because he has nothing to lose. But the people who feel they have something to lose-this alliance-you start to feel this pressure of, 'What are we going to do? Is it going to be me? It can't be me, I know you don't want it to be you, but I don't want it to be me.'"

Probst used the analogy of a football team having to play defensively and sitting back as opposed to offensively, such is the case with Mike.

"That's the only advantage I think Mike has, is, 'Hey man, I've got nothing to lose...I can say and do whatever I want to any of you because all of you want to vote me out.'" Probst explained.

It remains to be seen if Mike will have what it takes to make it all the way to the end of if the alliance of five will stick together and unanimously vote him out next. Only time will tell.

Survivor: Worlds Apart airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
