American Horror Story is heading back to Los Angeles, Calif. after two seasons in Louisiana.

Matt Bomer Talks Working With Lady Gaga on 'American Horror Story'

The FX anthology series is slated to move to LA for season 5, titled Hotel, according to a new report by the Los Angeles Times. According to the report, Hotel will have a "story connection" to Los Angeles.

The show filmed in Los Angeles for its first two seasons. Murder House took place in Los Angeles anyway but Asylum took place in Massachusetts. Coven was set in New Orleans so production moved down there to film an authentic view of the city. Freak Show took place in Florida but production remained in New Orleans due to similarities of the Southern locale.

Now that the show is returning to Los Angeles, the show will likely have a similar feeling to Murder House, assuming it too takes place in the present day.

Very little has been revealed about Hotel other than the cast, which continues to grow every week. Returning regulars include Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Kathy Bates and Angela Bassett while guest stars from previous seasons, Matt Bomer, Wes Bentley and Chloë Sevigny, are returning with series regular status.

Lady Gaga and Cheyenne Jackson are joining the series for the first time for Hotel.

This will also be the first season without marquee star Jessica Lange, with Freak Show being her final season on the show.

American Horror Story: Hotel is scheduled to premiere in October on FX, though the network has not yet announced a specific premiere date.
