Dancing With the Stars pro Keo Motsepe is already confident that the upcoming season will be his best one yet.

Motsepe's celebrity pairing is perhaps his best one yet—Fuller House star Jodie Sweetin. The young pro, who has not had very good luck on DWTS, spoke about wanting to dance with her even before they were paired together.

"I saw [Val Chmerkovskiy] dancing with Stephanie [on 'Fuller House'] and I was like, 'Wow, she can dance. I wish she would come dance on the show. That would be awesome if I could dance with her.' And it just so happens that she's my partner this season," Motsepe said in an interview with International Business Times.

For Motsepe, this is a chance to prove himself as a legitimate pro. He first debuted in season 19 with Lolo Jones, but they were the first couple eliminated. Then, in season 20, the dancer was paired with Charlotte McKinney, but they were the second pair eliminated. Last season, Motsepe danced with Chaka Khan and they were the first to be eliminated.

Despite his lousy record, Motsepe is very hopeful that, with Sweetin, he will have his best season yet.

"We were talking about [the curse] the other day," Motsepe said. "[I told her] no partner and I have ever made it past Week 3 on the show and when we pass Week 3 - knock on wood - it's going to be our first experience together. I don't know what it's going to be like in Week 4 or 5 or what it's like to dance during 'My Most Memorable Year' with my partner. So it's going to be a great and uplifting feeling for me. And to share that with Jodie is very special."

As for their first dance, Motsepe has something special planned.

"It's going to be very special because I've never done this before on Week 1 of the show," he noted. "It's going to be very special and interesting."

Dancing With the Stars season 22 premieres Monday, March 21 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
