'Young and the Restless' (Y&R) Spoilers: Phyllis Loses It On The Stand [VIDEO]
She wants nothing more than to see the man who orchestrated her husband's kidnapping and torture and her own continual rape by his doppelganger behind bars for good, but even knowing she has his defense attorney in her pocket won't keep Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) from getting highly emotional on the stand during Victor's (Eric Braden) trial on The Young and the Restless.
She has convinced Michael (Christian LeBlanc) to throw Victor's case, which he is doing, but her emotional testimony could also be what is needed to try and seal his fate, as she recounts the ordeal she went through during her testimony—and eventually loses it, sobbing and screaming uncontrollably, and even trying to go after Victor herself.
"I hate you for what you did to me!" She screams in a preview clip for the Friday, March 25 episode.
Also helping her case is the fact that all the other Newmans have lined up to also testify against Victor and the fact that he let his control and power shield him from punishment in the past, and they all agree that this incident was by far one of his worst—and they can't stand by and let him get away with it any longer.
"I don't know you anymore," Vikki (Melody Thomas Scott) says in the clip.
"What he did was wrong," Noah (Robert Adamson) testifies.
"Immoral," Nick (Joshua Morrow) adds.
"Sickening," Victoria (Amelia Heinle) says.
"Criminal," Adam (Justin Hartley) claims.
However, despite even their testimony and appearance to have ganged up on him, the trial could still take an unexpected turn—one that sees Victor still somehow manage to walk away sans punishment yet again.
When Michael calls Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) to the stand, it will prove to be the biggest mistake he has made, as Luca overheard the conversation he had with Phyllis about throwing the trial—and he shares that information with the court. Now, not only will Michael be immediately ousted as Victor's attorney, but Victor could shock everyone by deciding to be his own representation—which could change how the entire outcome of the case plays out.
The Young and the Restless airs Monday-Friday at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
