They've been at war ever since he arrived in Salem unexpectedly, but Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) will appear to make an attempt to try and call a truce with his brother, Victor (John Aniston) on Days of Our Lives.

Victor was not happy when his brother, who was serving time in a Greek prison for killing his one-time fiancee 30 years ago, showed up unexpected and unannounced in town, and things have not gotten any better since. Deimos was also holding a huge piece of blackmail over Phillip's (John Paul Lavoisier) head about what happened between him and the girl who overdosed in his hotel room in Chicago, forcing Victor's son to work against him as a result.

Victor eventually learned of the scheme and has since cut ties with Phillip, and it hasn't made him care for his brother anymore, either. But now, under the appearance of trying to make peace after so much time, Deimos will see his brother at the mansion again and extend an olive branch in the hopes of them repairing their damaged relationship and moving on as brothers. However, whether Victor chooses to believe him or not, he has no idea of the other danger Deimos has set in motion.

Not only did Deimos pay Maggie a visit last week and switch her pills with a more dangerous concoction—which she is unaware of and continuing to take—but he was also involved in the whole mess John (Drake Hogestyn) just went through with his biological father, Yo Ling (Tobin Bell). He suffered from the same disease as Caroline (Peggy McCay) and wanted the miracle drug which saved her, and Deimos (and Phillip) was his way to it. He is now dead and the need for the drug isn't an issue anymore, but his efforts also caused even more heartache for Victor's family that no one even realizes.

Hope (Kristian Alfonso) killed Stefano DiMera thinking he was the one who orchestrated Bo's kidnapping when he went to retrieve the drug in Mexico, which led to his brain tumor eventually becoming inoperable, which led to his own death mere days after his return to Salem. However, Stefano may have actually not been involved in the scheme for once—and Hope could still be exposed and vulnerable because one of the real men responsible for her beloved husband's (and Victor's son) death is still walking in Salem.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
