It had seemed like a certainty that Victor (Eric Braden) would go down for the crimes he committed against Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Jack (Peter Bergman), but now that Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) has spilled about Michael (Christian LeBlanc) trying to throw things, everything will change on The Young and the Restless.

Not only has Victor now fired Michael as his attorney, but he has decided he will now represent himself in the case, and that could make things even more stressful and upsetting, as everyone who already testified against him will have to take the stand once more—this time with the man they're trying to get locked up firing questions at them. And the fact that they will have to once again testify will be especially difficult for Jack and Phyllis.

"Brace yourself," Christine (Lauralee Bell) warns them in a preview clip for the Monday, March 28 episode. "Victor's calling you back up on the stand."

Meanwhile, Luca is going to have to try and defend his actions of revealing the secret plot to not only Jack and Phyllis, but Billy (Jason Thompson), Summer (Hunter King) and Michael as well, as they all confront him for only thinking of what was best for himself and not everyone else.

"What was I supposed to do, was I going to lie?" Luca asks in the clip. "It'd be against the law, and certainly not honorable."

"You're lying right now!" Michael rages.

And while all of the pandemonium breaks loose concerning the new changes in the trial, Victor will be preparing himself to try and prove his innocence, something he is more assured than ever he'll be able to do now that he can ask the questions Michael wouldn't and potentially put some reasonable doubt in the jury's minds.

"Are you ready?" Paul (Doug Davidson) asks in the clip.

"More than ready," Victor replies.

The Young and the Restless airs Monday-Friday at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
