Bloodline star Linda Cardellini recently spoke about how season 2 will pick up where season 1 left off.

*Spoilers Ahead For Bloodline Season 1*

Cardellini, who plays Meg Rayburn on the Florida Keys drama, won't say much about the upcoming second season, but she did recently tease the new season's "pace."

The actress told Parade: "The show has so many twists and turns, so it's almost hard to even try to spill it to tell you what exactly it would be about. But the show picks up close to where it left off, and it's at the pace where we left off. The first season evolved and the characters unraveled early. This picks up in the same place, and kicks off at a running pace."

Season 1 notably ended with John (Kyle Chandler) killing his brother Danny (Ben Mendelsohn), with Meg and Kevin (Norbert Leo Butz) helping to cover it up. The Rayburns unraveled through much of season 1, and now with this hanging over them, there's probably even more drama to come.

Cardellini spoke about Meg and how her desire to keep her family together and be a good person is gradually becoming impossible.

"I think she has these larger questions that stem from her trying to do what she thought was right for her family all of the time throughout her life and not really developing her own wants and needs," she said. "I feel like as a person who wants to please others, you can fall into that pattern. I think she's fallen into it to a dangerous degree. So, she acts out in certain ways. She acts out sexually some times in the first season and defies what she's supposed to be doing that is good. And with her family, she tries to maintain this sort of peace-keeping, good girl, good sister role, and it's sort of impossible to maintain, especially at this point."

Bloodline season 2 is set to drop on Netflix on May 27.
