She was the one who was there when Shawn (Devon Martinez) went into labor, and the fact that the baby Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sage (Kelly Sullivan) want to adopt has been born prematurely will cause Sharon (Sharon Case) to feel extreme guilt over their possibly losing another son on The Young and the Restless.

She is blaming herself for Shawn going into premature labor because she was discussing adoption with her before it happened, and had admitted to her regrets over giving up Cassie when she was young, and now, as she frets over the fact that Sage and Nick could experience a similar heartbreak to what they went through when they lost Christian, she will confess that she's afraid losing David will be her fault.

"Shawn had the baby?" Dylan (Steve Burton) asks in a preview clip for the Friday, April 1 episode.

"Nick and Sage might lose their little boy," she replies. "And it's my fault."

After he reassures her however that this isn't her fault, the talk about babies will lead them to discuss the nightmares she had about Sully recently, the two will revisit Patty's mutterings about a baby at Fairview. Knowing that Dr. Anderson wanted to get back at Nick for what happened to her back in high school, Dylan will encourage Sharon to try and remember her time at Fairview, which was where she gave birth to Sully.

And when Sharon commits to trying to remember, some of the haziness surrounding her memories of the stay there will clear, and she will admit she remembers video chatting with him, but then things got fuzzy, and then she was holding Sully. She will also admit she doesn't remember going into labor or giving birth at all, but something else will suddenly become much clearer to her.

As she thinks about it, Sharon will remember someone else with her, watching—someone known only as "the nurse." However, the memory could be the one they needed to solving the mystery that has been silently plaguing them all.

The Young and the Restless airs Monday-Friday at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
