Future Amazing Race candidates have a new skill to add to their arsenal - changing a car's oil.

Past contestants have brushed up on their language skills, endurance, and ability to eat copious amounts of unusual foods, but so far, no one has thought to practice their lessons from auto shop. For Sheri and Cole, this oversight nearly became their downfall.

If season 28's final seven teams were flagging, Leg Six put a new switch in their step. An Express Pass was up for grabs, and the coveted slip would allow its owners to leapfrog any one upcoming obstacle from now through Leg Nine. Needless to say, competition ramped up and niceties flew out the window.

After trading the snowy climes of the French Alps for the bussing Armenian city of Yerevan, contestants scoured the Yerevan Opera Theater for their first clue. Once obtained, the envelop left the travelers with two choices for this weeks Detour - they could either make Lavash during "Bread" or put their fine motor skills to the test weaving Armenian carpets in "Thread." As difficult as both these tasks were, the real test came during the Road Block.

In "Ready for a Change," one member of each team had to change a car's oil. Only two teams could work at a time, and when Sheri stalled the line, the remaining teams had to filter though the other station one by one. Not only was this bad news for Sheri and Cole, but it also put Tyler and Korey in a tough spot. Currently in last place, the best friends we're stuck at the tail end of a long line of cars. Against all odds, however, the duo actually managed to beat Sheri, if only by a few minutes.

Luckily for the mother/son act, Leg Six turned out to be a non-elimination round! Although the Vine personalities came in miles behind winners Brodie and Kurt, they still have a chance at the ultimate prize.
