Dark Matter season 2 is in the bag!

The Raza's amnesiac crew spent the last few months filming their 13-episode sophomore run, and on Friday the criminal heroes wrapped production for the finale. The season 1 closer left One (Marc Bendavid), Two (Melissa O'Neil), Three (Anthony Lemke), Four (Alex Mallari, Jr.), Five (Jodelle Ferland), and the Android (Zoie Palmer) in the clutches of the Galactic Authority, and the series will pick up in the wake of Six's (Roger Cross) apparent betrayal.

"[When] Dark Matter returns, as the crew of the spaceship, Raza--who started off the series with no memory of who they were or how they came to be on the ship--gets involved in an intergalactic conspiracy, as they search for a device that could prove vital in the upcoming war," TV Insider teased.

When the finale rolls around, viewers will be in for a reveal that utterly dwarf's last Six's traitorous reveal.

"I said very early on that I had mapped out this five-year game plan. The season two finale will be an even bigger "holy shit" than season one," showrunner Joseph Malozzi told The Hollywood Reporter. "The first season was about peeling the onion on these characters' backstories, finding out who they are, and it's very personal. Season two we blow the doors off, do some world building, the past comes back to haunt and at the same time, the characters wrap up their exploration of their respective backstories."
