'Days of Our Lives' (DOOL) Spoilers: Hope and Aiden Have A Dramatic Showdown [VIDEO]
She thought he was dead after Bo shot him on the night they married, but Hope (Kristian Alfonso) is now stunned after learning that Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove) is alive and back in her life on Days of Our Lives.
After divorcing Bo and accepting he wasn't likely coming back to her, Hope had moved on from her great romance with Aiden, and the two married during Salem's bicentennial. However, what should have been a night of wedded bliss for them quickly turned into a night of horror after Aiden donned a mask and pretended to be the Necktie Killer (really Ben Weston) and tried to kill Hope. Bo suddenly appeared and rescued her, shooting and killing Aiden after a struggle. Since then, Bo died from a brain tumor and Hope was moving on with Rafe (Galen Gerig). Now, she is floored after returning home from a date, and seeing none other than Aiden standing in the very same living room she thought he died in.
After the initial shock wears off, Hope will quickly take action, and arrest Aiden for trying to kill her. But things could become heated after he begins to explain himself, and what really happened.
It seemed as though Aiden had tried to kill her because of the large amount of money he owed Stefano and Andre (Thaao Penghlis), who had paid off his substantial gambling debts, and the only way he saw himself able to pay them before they hurt Chase (Jonathan McClendon) was by killing Hope after their wedding so he could cash in on her impressive life insurance policy. Now though, he will shock Hope when he claims that the man who tried to kill her wasn't him, but an imposter, and he attempts to explain just what has happened, and where he has been, for the last six months.
His explanation won't keep Hope from trying to have him apprehended however, and he will be carted off to jail. But, his appearance, and his story, will still rattle her, and she could quickly learn there is much more to the story about her now back in her life husband.
Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
