'Days of Our Lives' (DOOL) Spoilers: Steve Worries About Joey's Whereabouts [VIDEO]
He thought there was something off with his son's behavior the last time they were together, and now, Steve (Stephen Nicolls) will have new reason to believe Joey (James Lastovic) could be in big trouble on Days of Our Lives.
When he last saw his son, after learning he and his friends had been arrested on prom night for vandalizing a judge's car, Joey's behavior struck him as strange when he emotionally told his father he loved him and even embraced him with a hug. Now, Steve will notice that his jacket, the one which carries the keys to his motorcycle, is missing, and will quickly realize his son may have swiped it and went on the run.
He could head to Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) with his concerns about their son, but may not find her being overly concerned or even helpful, as she is going to quickly become preoccupied by an influx of patients as a serious flu-like disease begins sweeping through Salem, meaning Steve could be on his own.
What neither he nor Kayla had realized is that Joey did in fact make plans to run away and leave town in order to punish his parents for their splitting up once again. He and Jade (Paige Searcy) hit the road in the hopes of getting to Los Angeles so that he could get away from the drama surrounding his parents split, and she could get away from her parents trying to send her to military school. Joey had a particularly hard time with his parents splitting up this time because they did so after Steve was acquitted of murdering Ava, a crime he claimed to have committed so he could cover for his son, who was the real culprit. However, afterwards, Kayla decided she could never feel as if she and Joey were safe due to Steve's lifestyle and past as an ISA agent, which led to the split.
Now, Steve will have to try and find his son, and will hope he hasn't gotten himself in any trouble on his little adventure with his new girlfriend.
Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
