If you didn't watch Blindspot's "If I Love A Rebel, Death Will Render," then avert your eyes now. You need only look at the title to know that major spoilers lie ahead.

Blindspot's penultimate episode had two jaw-dropping moments, both of which will leave Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) and Jane (Jaimie Alexander) unfettered as they careen into the finale. While a death will cause the tattooed enigma to question Oscar's motives, a death bead confession will leave Weller's mind racing.

As of episode 22, Mayfair (Marianne Jean-Baptiste) is in the ground. The only (former) FBI agent capable of piecing together Jane's little side project, Bethany's due diligence was rewarded with a bullet to the chest. Her execution was was a shocker for Jane, and it, along with a murderous confession from Weller's father, will form the basis for the season finale

"Mayfair's death, and Weller's father's revelation, completely inform the entire finale," showrunner Martin Gero told TV Line. "There's no case [of the week], so to speak. It's all about fallout.

Whether or not Jane chooses Oscar (Francois Arnaud) over the FBI will not be episode 23's central question (spoiler alert via Gero, "she chooses the good guys"). Instead, "Why Await Life's End" will pull us deeper into the Taylor Shaw mystery. If Weller's ailing father is to be believed, than Jane can't possibly be his childhood friend.

"There's a lot of new information," Gero teased. "Like we did in Episode 21, we're going to tie up a lot of loose ends and answer a lot of questions [in the finale]. And new questions will be asked. It's a big episode."

Do you think Jane is Taylor Shaw? Was Bill's (Jay O. Sanders) confession merely metaphorical, i.e. he somehow was responsible for her lost childhood, or did he really end her life?
