His wife just learned that he has returned to the mob and has orchestrated and committed two murders since their wedding, and now, Julian (William DeVry) will have to make sure his enemy doesn't convince Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) on him on General Hospital.

Alexis has officially learned that Julian orchestrated Hale's murder by "accidental overdose" to keep Carlos from heading to jail for Duke's murder, and therefore keeping the hitman from flipping on his boss and also taking him down with him. Now, she also learned that Julian tied up the loose end that was Carlos after his escape from prison, by stabbing him with the dagger Helena willed her, which led to Carlos' own eventual death.

Now, after Julian pointed out that her knowledge of his ordering the hit on Duke made her complicit in all of his crimes, Alexis has halted calling the police. But when Sonny (Maurice Benard) arrives to inform her of what Julian has done now, and realizes she already knows, he will try to convince her to do what's right by grabbing her hand. And when Julian witnesses this he will threaten Sonny to leave them before he takes action against him as well.

"Take your hand off my wife, or I'll cut it off," Julian says in a preview clip for the Tuesday, May 16 episode.

However, Sonny won't let up, knowing that Alexis, deep down, won't let Julian get away with things, no matter how much she loves him. But, feeling like she has nowhere else to go, and knowing that turning Julian in could also take her down and ruin her career and the life she has built for herself, Alexis may shock Sonny by continuing to defend Julian and insisting he never went anywhere near Carlos, and couldn't have been the one who stabbed him.

After realizing she may not budge, Sonny may feel the need to take matters into his own hands and take Julian down the only way he can as a result.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
