They've just welcomed their daughter and are experiencing the greatest moment of joy in their lives, but the culmination of their struggle is actually bittersweet for Rick (Jacob Young) and Maya (Karla Mosley), and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) will do whatever it takes to give the couple everything they want on The Bold and the Beautiful.

After the investor's events a few months ago, Rick and Maya moved out of the Forrester mansion after Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) refused to put Maya's portrait back up, insisting Stephanie's stay on the wall again and be back where it rightfully belonged. After Eric (John McCook) sided with Ridge, Rick and Maya moved into Brooke's home with her, and the resentment between the brothers continued to grow as a result.

Now, Ridge is raising Douglas with Cartoline (Linsey Godfrey) in the mansion, while Rick and Maya's daughter won't be there. And since knowing they can't be at the namesake family manor is tampering with their joy over the birth of their first child, a miracle given to them by Nicole (Reign Edwards) since Maya is transgender, Brooke will decide to try and appeal to Eric to give Rick and Maya the truly happy ending they feel they deserve.

"He thought that he would be able to raise his daughter at the Forrester Estate, and that he and Maya would be taking her there," Brooke says to Eric in a preview clip for the Wednesday, May 18 episode. "But then Ridge pulled what he did."

Eric will likely sympathize with Rick's wants and the fact that his mother wants him to have everything he wants, but he won't necessarily take Rick's side again since he has liked the idea of his late wife's portrait still hanging up in the family mansion, especially since Maya is not the Forrester family matriarch any longer, since Ridge is CEO and Caroline is the woman by his side. And if Eric continues to support Ridge, it will only cause the issues and problems between the two brothers to widen even more, leading to another potentially nasty battle for everything.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
