The moment Outlander fans have been dreading will not happen in "Faith."

Pleasing fans is never easy; pleasing the creator of your universe is even harder. Book to TV adaptations are exceedingly difficult, and any changes generally leave readers frustrated and disappointed. This time around, it is Outlander author Diana Gabaldon who is displeased.

Gabaldon invited Starz to hang out in her little Scottish playground, but that doesn't mean the scribe has to agree with everything showrunner Ron Moore and Co. choose to put on the screen.

Back in January, Gabaldon warned fans an upcoming episode would pull a Happy Days and jump the shark. Ever since, fans have been speculating as to what major twist is heading their way.

"I can assure you that - while I did tell them I thought they were jumping the shark with on thing they did - they haven't done any of the stupid things you're worry about," Gabaldon told fans, later amending her statement to assure readers that she didn't think their fears were stupid, but rather Starz should e forced to wear a dunce cap had they implemented any of the changes comments were worried about.

With "Faith" primed to take on at least two major storylines, episode 7 seemed like a perfect time for Outlander to flip the tables. According to executive producer Maril Davis, that's not the case.

In fact, Davis even told fans that the "jump the shark" moment won't even deal with a major plot point. In other words, you can probably expect all major relationships, feuds, and pregnancies to continue as normal.

This Sunday, see Black Jack Randall (Tobias Menzies) and Jamie (Sam Heughan) go head to head in a illegal duel while Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and her unborn child fight for their lives in an entirely different arena. Click the video below to see a preview for "Faith."

Outlander airs Saturdays at 10 p.m. ET on Starz.
