Fans who are eager to create even more theories regarding the events unfolding on Game of Thrones were left disappointed about a new popular theory concerning a letter that Jon (Kit Harington) and Sansa (Sophie Turner) received on the most recent episode.

Daniel Sackheim, the director behind the recent "Oathbreaker" and "Book of the Stranger" episodes of the show, did a Reddit AMA with fans where he again reiterated that despite theories, the Pink Letter, which threatened more violence, another brutal Sansa rape, and Rickon's (Art Parkinson) death, was indeed written and sent by Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon), and not someone else pretending to be him.

"My understanding of the theory is that the letter was not written by Ramsay, correct?" He wrote after asked a question about it. "I went on record with Tech Insider that I was written by Ramsay. No idea why this theory has gained traction."

He also dished on the scene in "Book of a Stranger" that took fans by storm, as Tormund Giantsbane (Kristofer Hivju) made googly eyes at Brienne of Tarth (Gwendoline Christie), admitting that it was written into the script and not something he decided to do on his own, but that he did enjoy playing around with when it came time to shoot.

"That was definitely written into the script, however we did play around a but with it on set, tonally," he said. "I will say I was amazed by the reception that flirtation received on the Internet. It was surprising certainly because Brienne's character has been driven largely by duty and honor, and we've never gotten to see her as a sexual being. Tormund, is...well he's a Wilding, so enough said there. It was a very unexpected development."

However, he unfortunately can't give fans any answers about Osha's (Natalia Tena) sad death at the hands of Ramsay, after she only returned to the show in episode three, following an absence for two years.

"I don't really know. That was Dan and David's decision," he said. "We never really discussed it. Sorry."

Game of Thrones airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on HBO.
