'Arrow' Season 4 Spoilers: Stephen Amell Dishes On Finale, 'People Will Be Excited' [VIDEO]
Stephen Amell revealed some juicy details that can be expected in the Arrow finale.
On Friday, TV Line caught up with the actor, who plays Oliver on the series, where he mentioned what the last episode of the fourth season will be like; not only will questions be answered, but it seems like more questions will arise.
"It feels more like a season finale next week as opposed to last year, which almost felt like a little bit of a series finale. But next week's finale's good," Amell said. "It has I think a lot of the closure that people are looking for and enough questions and teases for Season 5 that people will be excited."
It was pointed out how before there was a moment where Oliver and Felicity ride off into the sunset together. Can viewers expect something different from that this year?
"It is different," Amell said. "But in a lot of ways it looks the same."
The actor also pointed out how there might be assumptions on what the finale will be about when instead there's going to be much deeper stuff happening.
"Ironically, the way that that is set up for the finale is very much like it's gonna be about rescuing Felicity, and that is actually not at all what the episode is about," Amell said. "So for Oliver it's less about what is he gonna do versus how is he gonna approach it. Like, what is his state of mind gonna be? And we deal with that in feels like the early part of the episode."
As if that's not enough, fans are definitely going to want to prepare for something new and pretty epic.
"We have a scene that is really unlike anything we've ever done on the show, certainly with me as Oliver and not just speaking to the team, but speaking to Star City," Amell revealed. "We do that a little bit in the premiere where I announce myself as the Green Arrow and there is a bit of a callback to that in the finale and then the next step of that evolution."
