Is Paige VanZant setting her sights on Hollywood after her recent run on ABC's Dancing With the Stars?

VanZant finished as the runner-up of this past season of Dancing With the Stars, alongside her partner Mark Ballas. Her glitzy experience on DWTS was a far cry from her rough and tumble career as a UFC fighter, and many are now wondering if she's going to continue in the Hollywood direction moving forward.

Luckily for longtime fans of VanZant, she's not giving up her fighting career. UFC bantamweight Urijah Faber revealed this in a new interview with MMA Junkies:

"I've talked to Paige throughout this process and she loves to fight," Faber said recently. "That's why she's done this. Of course, it's opened up a lot of doors for her and she's deserving of that. She's a hard worker and a good person. But I think she still has that passion for fighting."

VanZant is expected to have a role in the new movie Kickboxer: Retaliation, but that won't stop her from training and fighting.

"Opportunities are opportunities - I feel that regardless of where she's going to go, she's going to be working on her fighting," Faber said. "Whether she's in Thailand working on this movie, back in Sacramento at the gym, in L.A. - we've got her set up with trainers wherever she goes."

Ultimately, Faber added, "Her eye is still on the prize and we're looking forward to making a big statement in the entertainment world like she has been, but also remember that the fight game is where her heart is."

VanZant technically had the best average score from the judges among all celebrities who competed on DWTS this season, even beating out the winner, Nyle DiMarco. However, the results don't just come down to the judges' opinions; the voting public has a say in it, too.

Did Paige VanZant deserve to win 'DWTS' over Nyle DiMarco?

Dancing With the Stars returns for season 23 this fall on ABC.
