She was promised $10,000 if she went along with a scheme that saw her pretending to be the woman who was on Billy's (Jason Thompson) motorcycle with him when he crashed, and now, Bethany (Chrishell Stause) will begin having fun taunting Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) with the information she knows about their affair as a result on The Young and the Restless.

After the accident, Billy and Phyllis covered up the fact that she was the one who was actually on his motorcycle but claiming it had been Bethany, and Phyllis quickly got to work getting Bethany on board with the scheme by promising her Billy would pay her $10,000 if she said it was her and pretended to be his girlfriend. Now, Bethany will go to the hospital and pose as Billy's new companion as he's being released, and will let him in on what Phyllis promised her, though she will warn him that the game the two of them are trying to play is a dangerous one that they could soon regret.

Later, after the two head to the club for a meal and see Phyllis and Jack (Peter Bergman) there, Bethany will decide to make good on her reminding both Billy and Phyllis that she could blow everything wide open on them if they don't keep their promise of paying her by hinting that Billy and Phyllis are much closer than they seem directly in front of Jack.

"Billy talks about you so much, I feel like I already know you!" Bethany says to Phyllis in a preview clip for the Monday, June 6 episode.

The comment could set off alarm bells for Phyllis, since she is desperate to make sure her careless actions and her affair remain a secret because she doesn't want to ruin her marriage to Jack, and if she shows too much panic over the fact that Bethany now seems to hold the power, it could lead to Jack becoming more suspicious of his wife's strange behaviors.

The Young and the Restless airs Monday-Friday at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
