They all agreed they would keep the truth about Douglas' paternity a secret, but both Thomas (Pierson Fode) and Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) may now be having second thoughts when it comes to letting people believe Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) is the father on The Bold and the Beautiful.

After trying to get Liam's (Scott Clifton) mind off his troubles and hearing about his regrets for how he lost Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Thomas is now reconsidering things with the plan because of his now potentially losing out on what he actually wants with his son, which is a real relationship as father/son, not brothers. And now, he may tell Caroline that he can't go through with the plan anymore.

"Every day, I have to live with the fact that my father took my son from me," he says in a preview clip for the Thursday, June 23 episode.

Caroline will of course panic initially, because the secret is meant to protect Douglas from the scandal the truth would cause, because it would show that Ridge tried to control his son and grandson's lives, and could damage the Forrester reputation, and his position as the company's CEO. However, the weight of the secret has been weighing heavily on her too, and she is feeling the pressure as well because not only have Katie (Heather Tom), Bill (Don Diamont) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) also all learned the secret, but it's getting harder and harder for her to contain it herself. And though her husband could lash out at her for considering it, Caroline will approach him with the idea of just telling the truth now before someone else could learn it and expose it for them.

"We just need to be honest," she says in the clip. "We need to be honest with everyone about who Douglas' father really is."

Ridge could be shocked and appalled that Caroline and Thomas want to now reveal the secret, especially after they all agreed they would keep it quiet, and he could react poorly as a result.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
