No one knows where Ian (Ray Wise) took Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) just yet, and as the search for her continues, the situation she and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) are now in as his hostages will grow more risky on The Young and the Restless.

Ian will intercept the phone that they had kept hidden and decide to use it to his advantage, by forcing a call to a now hospitalized Victor (Eric Braden), where Nikki will be the one to deliver the message that Ian wants a $5 million random in order to let her and Phyllis go.

"Victor it's me," she says in a preview clip for the Tuesday, July 5 episode. "I'm with Ian, You need to do exactly as I say."

Victor will be shocked when he hears from Nikki, and will decide the time has come to take matters into his own hands. He will escape from the hospital to find her, and after having heard Phyllis in the background of the call, he will know where they are and head to the Abbott cabin to rescue them. Once there however, things could get even worse as he prepares for what will hopefully be his last and final showdown with Ian.

Meanwhile, back in Genoa City, Jack (Peter Bergmann) and Billy (Jason Thompson) are both starting to worry about the fact that Phyllis hasn't been answering any phone calls at the cabin, since they are unaware that she is now one of Ian's hostages. And as his concern grows, Jack will decide to try to see her and make sure everything is okay, something Billy will try to discourage since he thinks she's just trying to figure out a way to let Jack know she wants to leave him.

"I'm surprised I haven't heard from Phyllis," Jack says in the clip. "I think I'm going to go up to the cabin."

Also worried is Dylan (Steve Burton) who is not only working to recover a victim of kidnapping, but to also find his mother, something he will stress the importance of his doing to Paul (Doug Davidson).

"We're chasing down worthless leads while my mother's life is at stake," he says in the clip.

The Young and the Restless airs Monday-Friday at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
