Kid Flash is ready to tear up the streets of Central City.

Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale) has a need for speed coupled with a fierce desire to battle the forces of darkness. Thanks to Barry's (Grant Gustin) decision to save his mother, a brand new timeline will give Wally a chance to shine as the metropolis' new savior.

Kid Flash will make his debut in the season 3 premiere, which is aptly titled "Flashpoint." Drawing elements from both the Flash and Reverse Flash, Wally and his new super suit are on display over at TV Line.

"Kid Flash is coming," Lonsdale teased Tuesday morning.

Danielle Panabaker also took to Twitter to celebrate the news, hyping Wally's transition from college student to meta human speedster.

"Cannot wait 2 c @KeiynanLonsdale as Kid Flash!" the actress enthused. "Season 3 is going to be fantastic & we are so lucky to have Keiynan."

Season 3 will opening the wake of Barry's ill-advised decision to tamper with his past. Crushed by his father's death at the hands of Zoom, the Scarlet Speedster used the final moments of "Race of his Life" to do what he's wanted to since day one - save his mother from the Reverse Flash. Now that Nora is alive and well, Barry will return to the present day to find himself living in an entirely different timeline, one that he might not even remember creating. Potentially powerless, the hero will play out the events of Geoff Johns' 2011 storyline.

"FLASHPOINT. This is not drill," Gustin teased back in June. "We're definitely doing this FP thing our own way. I've read Flashpoint, I've seen the amazing animated film. This will be its own thing."
