After Katie (Heather Tom) confronted him about his affair with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and they decided their marriage was once again over, Bill (Don Diamont) shockingly kidnapped Will from his mother, and now, he will defend what he did when he's confronted about causing Katie to truly break down on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Using the fact that she had been drinking because she suspected there was more between him and Brooke for so long, Bill justified taking Will out of their house and keeping him away from Katie. And now, when Liam (Scott Clifton) learns of his father's latest actions regarding his lack of respect for his marriage and the woman who gave him his son, he will confront him for being so callous.

"You took Will from Katie for erratic behavior that you caused, by having an affair with her sister, and convincing her that she was crazy for being suspicious," he says in a preview clip for the Thursday, July 14 episode. "Is that right?"

When Bill confirms it, Liam will likely go off on his father, but Bill will continue to shock him when he again not only defends his affair by claiming he loved Brooke and Katie was the one who destroyed their marriage with her suspicious behavior, but also defends how he broke her down for the final time by taking Will away from her. And when he claims to be doing it all in the name of protecting Will from Katie, Liam will be the most disgusted he has ever been about his father because what he has done is so cruel.

"We are where we are," Bill says in the clip. "And I will do whatever I have to, to protect my son."

With that, Liam may decide that trying to get through to his father isn't worth the effort any longer, and he may officially take Katie's side in things in an attempt to make sure she is the one who gets to have the victory when their divorce heads to court.
