'General Hospital' (GH) Spoilers: The Hostages Create A Diversion On Cassadine Island [VIDEO]
They're all being held captive by Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) after he finally revealed himself and said he wanted to be the new heir to the Cassadine fortune, and in an effort to save themselves, Laura (Genie Francis), Dante (Dominic Zamprogna), Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) and Lulu (Emme Rylan) will work on an escape plan on General Hospital.
Valentin already removed Jason (Billy Miller) and Sam (Kelly Monaco) to a new room, away from everyone else, and also did the same to Ava (Maura West) and Nikolas (Nick Stabile), and stunned Ava when he shot Nikolas and sent him tumbling out a window and apparently to his death (an ironic replay of his assumed death back in Port Charles). Now, she is left to wonder why Valentin is still keeping her alive, when she is clearly of no use to him.
"Why did you let me live?" She asks in a preview clip for the Friday, July 22 episode.
Meanwhile, downstairs, the rest of the hostages are planning to put their plan for escape into action, which will involve Dante and Kevin trying to make a diversion to distract Valentin and his henchmen, while Lulu slips into the tunnels running underground on Cassadine Island, in an effort to get free and get help for everyone else. And though Dante is wary of sending his wife into the tunnels (one wrong turn can send her into the compound's lab and other untold horrors), when she assures him she will be fine, he will be forced to go through with the plan. And finally, Lulu will decide that an opening is available for them, and she will encourage him to go through with things.
"When we get the chance, we should go" Lulu says in the clip.
However, even if the plan goes off smoothly and she is able to slip away, it could still prove to be a nightmare come true for her and Dante when she descends into the tunnels, and perhaps makes a horrific discovery she never thought she would in the process.
General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
