'General Hospital' (GH) Spoilers: Suspicions About Franco Continue To Grow After Sam Is Hospitalized [VIDEO]
He was cleared as a suspect in the murders at the hospital thank to Elizabeth's (Rebecca Herbst) quick thinking, but Franco (Roger Howarth) won't make matters any easier on himself when he goes to visit the last patient who would ever want to see him on General Hospital.
Sam (Kelly Monaco) has found herself extremely tired, and has fainted three times since she first arrived on Cassadine Island, twice when she was there, and once at the police station, and she is now hospitalized to be examined by Finn (Michael Easton) and find out if she picked up some sort of infectious disease while she was there. However, the person she hates more than anyone else in the world will be the one who shows up at her hospital room door instead, and possibly throw suspicion on himself yet again in the process.
"Can I help make it better?" Franco asks Sam in a preview clip for the Monday, August 8 episode.
Sam will demand he get out of her room, but his being there in the first place could cast suspicion on him again because his being in a patient's room the last time also led to his becoming the prime suspect in the rash of attacks and murders at the hospital by someone injecting people with derisifol. He had gone to Miss Prescott's room to give her something she had made during an art therapy class with him, and found a vial which tested positive for the drug on the floor, according to his story, but when his prints were the only ones found on vial, he was arrested. Elizabeth quickly figured out a piece of the timeline which proved he couldn't be the one who injected and wound up killing Miss Prescott, but an eye was still being kept on him anyway.
And as word spreads that he showed up at Sam's room, even Elizabeth may need to reconsider some of her feelings about him when Finn suggests that Franco could just be a mastermind of a criminal, one who knows exactly how to keep evidence from surfacing against him.
"Maybe Franco's just good at covering his tracks," he says in the clip.
General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
