They both have reasons to try and help and protect two women who have no idea they're actually related, and now, Franco (Roger Howarth) and Finn (Michael Easton) will both do just that on General Hospital.

Finn knows in his gut that Hayden (Rebecca Budig) did not push Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) down the stairs at the hospital, but has been unable to prove it thus far, and feels like time could be running out to help her. Now, he will seek out Curtis (Donnell Turner) in an attempt to see if they can work together to prove Hayden didn't commit the assault.

"What about Hayden? Do you think you can help her?" He asks in a preview clip for the Tuesday, September 6 episode.

Meanwhile, Hayden will be trying to defend herself against the accusations, and will implore that she genuinely did not try to hurt or even kill Elizabeth, even though they two had argued moments before the attack happened. However, she may be having a difficult time proving it, as everyone except Finn seems to be doubting her about the situation.

"Please tell me you believe I didn't push Elizabeth," she says in the clip.

Meanwhile, Franco is struggling under the weight of the secret he learned thanks to Heather (Robin Mattson), about Hayden and Elizabeth actually being sisters because of Naomi's (Robin Ryker) affair with Jeff Webber years before. He wanted to tell Elizabeth about it, but was stopped when he found her on the stairs after her fall, and saw Hayden standing above her, assuming she was the one who did it. Now, he has confronted Naomi about the secret and the fact that her daughter may have tried to kill her sister, and is threatening her that he will expose the truth because both Hayden and Elizabeth have a right to know who they actually are to one another.

"She deserves the truth," he says in the clip.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
