There was yet another interruption outside the Big Brother 18 house, but it remains to be seen how it might impact the game.

Head of Household: Victor Arroyo

Nominees: James Huling and Natalie Negrotti

Other houseguests: Corey Brooks, Nicole Franzel and Paul Abrahamian

It was mostly a quiet day in the Big Brother 18 house until someone with a megaphone was heard outside the house. The person reportedly yelled to the houseguests that James and Nicole were in a pre-game alliance, but the feeds soon cut out for several minutes.

Natalie questioned James directly about whether this pre-game alliance was true. James denied it and said that the only alliance he had with Nicole was the Final 4 deal he made with Nicole, Corey and Natalie. Meanwhile, Natalie admitted that her one regret in the game was working with Nicole and Corey.

With tension still on the surface between the two, James and Natalie ultimately came to the conclusion that they should just stay friends. James asked her if she was just playing him the whole time, to which she said she wasn't that great of an actress. By the end of the night it seemed clear that James and Natalie were over as a "showmance", though the breakup was on amicable terms.

Natalie apparently also asked the Diary Room about straight-up quitting, to which they told her to wait to see how she feels tomorrow.

Meanwhile, the other side of the house, a.k.a. Nicole, Corey, Paul and Victor, did not have much game talk. Paul and Victor did not talk about the megaphone pronouncement, but they may want to at least factor it into their decision-making for Thursday. After all, if James did/still has a pre-game alliance with Nicole, then that would put Paul and Victor at a distinct disadvantage moving forward. Nicole has already discussed with Corey privately that she wants James in the Final 3 with them, so they're already ready to backstab Paul and Victor.

It remains to be seen if Paul and Victor will see the potential for Nicole and Corey backstabbing them or if they just hope they stick to their "Final 4" deal. Either way, James would almost definitely stick with Nicole and Corey next week while Natalie would definitely stick with Paul and Victor.

Big Brother 18 airs another new episode Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
