As if the town wasn't in enough of a panic because of the convicts on the loose and the blackout that has taken power out all over town, gunshots will add to the pandemonium that is engulfing Salem on Days of Our Lives.

Since Orpheus (George Del Hoyo), Clyde (James Read) and Xander (Paul Telfer) escaped from prison and holed up in Salem in an effort to finally get revenge on all of their enemies in the town, Salem has been in a panic. Not only were Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and Steve (Stephen Nichols) attacked, but their son Joey (James Lastovic) was taken hostage, as well as John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena's (Deirdre Hall) granddaughter Claire (Olivia Keegan). Now, with no end in sight to the chaos. A press conference will be called at the square, but it will only prove to lead to more destruction.

Orpheus has made his focus on finding ways to destroy the enemies of his past, while Clyde wants to cause as much trouble as he can, especially if doing so gives him the ability to not only get revenge on Kate (Lauren Koslow), but get close enough to DiMera mansion to destroy Chad (Billy Flynn) and get his son Thomas before he flees town. And now, he may get the opening he needs to do what he set out to do when he got back to town by holing up in the perfect spot to become a sniper, and point his gun at the gathering of people in the square.

Meanwhile, other gunfire already rang out in town by the docks, after Brady (Eric Martsolf) got fed up with waiting for action to be taken to protect his family, and he got Kiriakis men to go down to the docks after the men were allegedly seen down there. That proved to be a bust however, and has now only added to the problems in town.
