'Dragon Ball Super' Episode 61 Spoilers: Super Saiyan Green, White To Debut This Week? [VIDEO]
Dragon Ball Super has so far been a roller-coaster ride since the Future Trunks arc started last June. Since then, the anime has reached new heights, with many fans stating that the quality of the series now rivals the best arcs of Dragon Ball Z, which is arguably the best anime in the DB franchise.
Considering the latest episodes in the anime, however, it seems like Dragon Ball Super's Future Trunks arc is eventually nearing its end, as the mysteries regarding its villains and the secrets of the plots' conflict are quickly revealed one after another.
This coming week will see the highly-anticipated rematch between Son Goku, Vegeta and Future Trunks against Black Goku and Zamasu, who has an immortal body. As could be seen in the anime's preview, the battle would be fierce, and the stakes of the fight would be raised far more than ever.
One of the most notable scenes in the preview involve Zamasu taking off his green Potara earrings. Considering that Black Goku is also wearing the same accessory, numerous fans are speculating that the two evil beings would most likely fuse together to form, most likely, a Super Saiyan White fighter.
If this does indeed happen, the heroes of Dragon Ball Super are in for a really huge challenge. Considering previous plot developments in the Dragon Ball mythos, however, numerous fans are also speculating that if Black Goku and Zamasu do fuse together, the Z fighters would most likely power up to such an extent that they would be able to best their opponents.
Son Goku, Vegeta and Future Trunks do not have Potara earrings. Thus, it is highly unlikely for any of them to be able to fuse with the other. Instead, fan speculations point to the possibility of one of the heroes reaching a new level of Super Saiyan, with many suggesting Super Saiyan Green.
Dragon Ball Super is at its best after a relatively long dry spell during the initial episodes of the anime. Currently, however, it is at its best, and all is well for its fans.
