'The Walking Dead' Show Could Last Many More Years, Says Team; Comic Could be Followed All The Way?
"The Walking Dead" simply keeps on getting more intense as the episodes come. As fans wait for more information on the title, one tease could suggest a seemingly never-ending journey to the world of the undead and unruly men.
According to Unreality TV, producer Scott M. Gimple mentioned how he plans to continue "The Walking Dead" for a number more years. As other shows have done it before, Gimple believes that it can also be done the same way, making it a challenge to himself.
Some of the examples that justify this potential approach is the long-running "The Simpsons," as well as "Saturday Night Live" and while this could be a long shot, the graphic novel has quite a lot of books made-meaning a lot to catch up on.
Authentically, "The Walking Dead" series follows the conscious adventures of Rick Grimes, played by Andrew Lincoln. Since his waking from a coma, he has tried to survive on a daily basis, looking for his wife and child.
Even during the plagued zombie apocalypse, the challenge of surviving mankind's violent onslaught has put a whole new challenge to Grimes, meeting both friends and foes along the way. Gimple said that the show still has massive potential and could go on even further.
As per Coming Soon, the recent episode of the seventh season explains how the cast may have another problem-and at the same time, leverage. Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green) was caught, held captive by Negan and forced to choose to ally with him or die; which in this case, shows aligning with the bad guy.
She shortly regret her decision, wanting to ultimately pay the price for her betrayal. Lastly, the fight against Negan may be a lot easier as Dwight (Austin Amelio) is now on Rick's jurisdiction. Fans could now expect a massive fight with Rick getting an upper hand, which could come in the next episode and season.
