'American Horror Story' Season 3 Premiere: Zachary Quinto Talks 'Coven' Plus Character Name Spoilers [VIDEOS]
Fans wondering if American Horror Story regular Zachary Quinto might show up in the upcoming season might be disappointed by the actor's recent statements.
Quinto has not been announced to be playing a character in the third season of American Horror Story this fall, which had fans curious. The actor played the untrustworthy Dr. Oliver Thredson in Asylum, the show's second season and was nominated for an Emmy for his performance. He also played Chad, one half of a gay couple in season 1 of the horror anthology series.
Quinto discussed his status on the series with TVLine in a Wednesday report.
"No plans so far, but we'll see how that goes as the season unfolds," he revealed. "I'm always open to it. I've been so grateful for the opportunity to work with all those people, so if I can do it again I would love to."

The actor will be on Broadway this fall in The Glass Menagerie so he may not have time to do a guest spot on the series. However, season 1 regular Dylan McDermott surprised fans when he showed up in Asylum late in the season, so it's always possible that Quinto could show up for an episode or two.
In other American Horror Story news, SpoilerTV released a full list of character names for the upcoming season. Though many have already been announced, such as Jessica Lange's Fiona and Kathy Bates' Madame LaLaurie, others were not known previously.
