'White Collar' Season 5 Premiere: Peter Forced to Address Relationship with Neal While in Prison? [VIDEO]
Season 5 of White Collar premieres Thursday night on the USA network and one of the show's stars, Tim DeKay, revealed that there will be many changes this season.
The season 5 premiere of White Collar will feature Peter Burke (DeKay) behind bars after being framed for the murder of Senator Pratt (Titus Welliver). Neal (Matt Bomer) will try to come up with a scheme to get him out of prison.
"How Peter gets out and how Peter believes he gets out is what will propel us through the whole season," DeKay explained to TVLine in a Thursday interview. He added that Peter will have to address his relationship with Neal and how it has led him to being jailed.

"It's interesting because these guys have always gone about without ever really saying, 'Hey, you matter a lot to me. You're one of my best friends, but I don't trust you.' They never had to say that, address their relationship," DeKay said. The two men will have to address it now that Peter's career and life is on the line.
Peter will not be in jail for too long, based on DeKay's comments about what to expect later in the season. The actor revealed that he will be going undercover as a Polish hit man in one episode. He will also be on ice at one point in the season.

Peter will also be jealous of Neal's new handler David Siegel (Warren Kole). Being Neal's handler for a long time, Peter will miss "the chase and the stakeouts" and being out in the field.
Season 5 of White Collar premieres Thursday at 9 p.m. EST on the USA network.
