'Young and the Restless' (Y&R) Spoilers: The War Between Billy & Victoria Heats Up [VIDEO]
There had been talk of a plan for ending the feud between the Newmans and the Abbotts for good after Victor (Eric Braden) was sentenced to 10 years in prison, but the decision to launch Passkey almost immediately after his trial has torpedoed all plans for peace between the warring families on The Young and the Restless.
Specifically, the battle has ignited in spectacular fashion between former spouses Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Billy (Jason Thompson), who called off their engagement when Victoria learned that he had schemed to get the computer security program from Newman. Now, after she slapped him and called him out for corporate espionage during the launch press conference, things have officially heated up to a new extreme between the two, and the battle is officially on.
After storming off, Victoria will try to use Phyllis' (Gina Tognoni) attempt to get Michael (Christian LeBlanc) to overthrow Victor's trial against the Abbotts, by giving him a lucrative offer for a job at Newman again even though he's likely to be disbarred.
"What if I offered you half a million dollars to come back to Newman?" She says in a preview clip for the Monday, April 4 episode.
Michael will be stunned by the offer, and potentially tempted, though he may wind up turning Victoria down when he realizes she is just trying to get revenge on Billy.
Meanwhile, after the conference, Billy, Jack (Peter Bregman) and Phyllis will be discussing the damage they may need to fix following the confrontation in front of the press. And though Billy will continue to maintain that he did nothing wrong and that Passkey had belonged to him first, meaning Victoria has no right to react the way she did towards him, Jack will warn his brother that he needs to find some way to make peace with his ex so they can all continue on with their lives.
"You'd better start taking this seriously," he warns in the clip. "Find Victoria. Work it out."
The Young and the Restless airs Monday-Friday at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
