She was poisoned by her husband's brother in an attempt to take over everything he has in life, and now, Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) will learn that the situation is more bleak because her fall could have cost her the ability to walk again on Days of Our Lives.

She has woken up to her recently discovered daughter, Summer (Marie Wilson), who is worried her mother may be paralyzed, and though Victor (John Aniston) won't be by her side, Maggie could get answers about her fate following the accident. She won't yet know that the reason this has all happened to her is because Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) orchestrated it that way in order to get revenge on Victor for what happened in Greece 30 years ago, but she will know that she had been poisoned and fell down the stairs—breaking her neck in the process.

The news will certainly devastate her, though something else more heartbreaking could quickly take over.

In an attempt to get revenge on Deimos for what he had done, Victor went back to the mansion Deimos had now acquired from him, and after his brother showed no remorse over his actions leading to Maggie's potential paralysis, Victor lunged at him with a knife, intent on killing him. However, before he could get the knife into Deimos' heart, he himself collapsed on the couch, clutching his own—mimicking the vision Caroline (Peggy McCay) had about him having a heart attack months ago.

Now, Deimos could be holding Victor's actual life in his hands as he watches his brother struggle on the couch. He could choose to help him and get him to a hospital—though there is no guarantee Victor will be able to overcome the heart attack—or he can leave his brother where he is and watch him die, effectively completing his revenge on him, and securing the fact that Victor will never be able to force him into paying retribution for his actions.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
