'Young and the Restless' (Y&R) Spoilers: Victor Makes A Shocking Request Of Adam [VIDEO]
He was one of the members of his family who turned against him and helped send him to jail, and the very same one who refused to take over the company, but Adam (Justin Hartley) will learn Victor (Eric Braden) still wants to have him be a part of his life on The Young and the Restless.
Victor is at the hospital after the incident where he was stabbed in prison, and after rebuking Nikki's (Melody Thomas Scott) efforts to help take care of him, he will summon Adam to meet him at the hospital. And though Adam fears his father will once again try and suck him back into the company and his web of control, he will learn that he has a very different request in mind this time around.
After Adam arrives and tells Victor he still refuses to run Newman Enterprises, Victor will tell him it has nothing to do with the company—prompting the truth to come out and Adam to get a much bigger than intended shock.
"I don't know why I'm here," he says in a preview clip for the Wednesday, April 6 episode.
"I want you to avenge me," Victor says.
Victor will then explain to Adam what he's talking about, and will tell him how he met up with none other than Ian Ward (Ray Wise) in prison, and he believes that despite Ian's offer of protection, he was the one who stabbed Victor in his sleep. Now, Victor knows his prison term will go one of two ways. Either Ian will successfully kill him, or he will successfully kill Ian and likely get put away for life as a result.
Now, knowing this, he will explain to Adam that he wants his son to avenge his memory no matter which way it turns out. He will explain that if Ian succeeds and kills him, he wants Adam to then turn around and kill Ian. However, he won't have a chance to explain what Adam should do if Victor gets to kill first, as Nick (Joshua Morrow) will then walk into the room—and demand to know what their father is trying to hook Adam into doing now.
The Young and the Restless airs Monday-Friday at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
