He hasn't even been in prison for more than a few days, but he was already stabbed by someone else, and his concerns he could be murdered before he gets out will lead to more worries from the family members who helped put Victor (Eric Braden) behind bars in the first place on The Young and the Restless.

After catching a hospitalized Victor and Adam (Justin Hartley) seeming to conspire together, Nick (Joshua Morrow) began worrying they were formulating a plan to kick Victoria (Amelia Heinle) out as CEO so Adam could take over. However, Victoria has now learned from Adam that Victor was tapping him to avenge him if he was murdered, and she will share these alarming concerns with Nick.

"Do you have any news about dad?" Nick asks in a preview clip for the Monday, April 11 episode.

"The situation is worse than you think," Victoria replies.

Meanwhile, Adam is concerned about Victor's morbid outlook, especially since he isn't one to take threats and let them just pass over him—he's a man of action. Worried that Victor will not only seek out whoever has been making threats against his life, but put himself in an even more dangerous situation than he's already in, Adam will seek out help from Dylan (Steve Burton) to try and beef up the security Victor may have in prison. He receives the help he is asking for, as Dylan had a disturbing conversation with Victor in the hospital that left him with the impression that Victor would do exactly as Adam fears.

"One thing Victor made clear in our conversation is that he's willing to take matters into his own hands," Dylan says in the clip.

And, sure enough, that is exactly what Victor is doing. Convinced that Ian (Ray Wise) is the one behind his attack, Victor is not so subtly letting the man he believes is his enemy know that he isn't afraid to fight him.

"I'm as strong as ever," Victor says in the clip. "Want to find out?"

The Young and the Restless airs Monday-Friday at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
