'General Hospital' (GH) Spoilers: Sam & Jason Make Nikolas An Unexpected Offer [VIDEO]
They were appalled when they realized he had been so desperate to keep the truth about Jason's (Billy Miller) identity a secret that he had Hayden (Rebecca Budig) shot and almost killed over it, but now that they have a bit of an upper hand on him, Jason and Sam (Kelly Monaco) will use it to their advantage over Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) on General Hospital.
When they went to confront him and threatened to call the cops, things turned violent quickly when Nikolas tried to push Sam—and Jason needed to be talked down from killing Nikolas. However, now that their tempers have cooled a bit, and Jason has had a moment of déjà vu from his previous life by trying to convince Sonny (Maurice Benard) to not go after Carlos (Jeffrey Vincent Parise), he may be getting in touch once again with the man he's always been underneath the surface, even if he doesn't remember him. And when he tells Sam he has a way to get revenge on Nikolas for everything he did to destroy their lives and keep control over ELQ, he will truly be a reminder of the man she was once married to.
"He's going to pay for all of this," Jason says in a preview clip for the Monday, April 11 episode. "Trust me."
However, what he could suggest instead is a plan which will actually benefit the two of them—one that could also have a bonus initiative which will make it hard for Nikolas to turn down, likely with a caveat that if he doesn't comply, the truth about what he did to Hayden will be revealed and he will go to jail.
And after his continuing to have to deal with Hayden blackmailing him into staying in their marriage or she'll turn in the evidence of her shooting to the cops, Nikolas could be desperate to find any way possible to avoid prosecution—and potentially eliminate the threat Hayden poses to him now, since he doesn't trust her after her lies about her real identity as Rachel Berlin and the fact that she was working for Tracy (Jane Elliot) to try and get ELQ back from him.
General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
