She's been keeping the secret about Sully's birth and true paternity despite promising Sage before her death that she would share the truth, but now, Sharon's (Sharon Case) conspicuous behavior will lead to her being forced to spill the truth to Mariah (Camryn Grimes) on The Young and the Restless.

After Mariah found Sage's journal and gave it to Nick (Joshua Morrow) Sharon seemed extremely agitated by the discovery and what might be written in there. Now, as Mariah continues pressing her for answers about her reaction, Sharon will begin blurting out parts of the truth.

"What did Dr. Anderson do? Why would she say Sully isn't yours?" Mariah asks Sharon in a preview clip for the Wednesday, May 18 episode.

From there, Sharon will admit everything to Mariah, about Dr. Anderson telling Sage Christian had died and giving him to Sharon while she was at Fairview, telling her the baby was hers. She will admit that she and Sage learned the truth at the same time, and Sage was on her way to tell Nick the truth about Sully being Christian when she got into her car accident and died. Now, Mariah, shocked that Sharon is still keeping the secret despite seeing Nick hurting so badly from the death of both his wife and son, will insist her sister tell the truth, even if it hurts her marriage to Dylan (Steve Burton).

Meanwhile, Nick read a passage in Sage's journal that has given him some new alarm, and he wants to get answers from Adam (Justin Hartley) about what he's read, and thinks that they'll be in the letter Sage left for him when she died. Now, he will demand to see it, and his anxious behavior will start to worry Chelsea (Melissa Clare Egan), as she begins thinking he has learned the truth about Adam being Christian's biological father.

"Sage left that letter for Adam. I want to know what was in it," he says in the clip.

The Young and the Restless airs Monday-Friday at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
