'General Hospital' (GH) Spoilers: Michael Makes A Shocking Discovery [VIDEO]
He's been worried about the state Sabrina (Teresa Castillo) and her baby have been in ever since she fled Port Charles with Carlos, but now Michael (Chad Duell) could get some of the answers he's been seeking in an unexpected way on General Hospital.
Tracy (Jane Elliot) had been stunned when she opened the door to the QWuartermaine Mansion and found a baby sitting on the doorstep, but she quickly took the child in and was planning to keep him and name him Edward. However, when Michael walked in and saw the distinctive rattle he had previously seen in Puerto Rico when searching for Sabrina, he will realize that the baby is the one he's been looking for all this time.
"I am sure this baby is Sabrina's," he says in a preview clip for the Wednesday, May 18 episode.
He will explain how he had seen the rattle before at Sabrina's Aunt's house, and how he had been told it belonged to someone else, helping cover her story that she hadn't seen Sabrina in months, and had never met her baby either. Now, he will realize that it had been a lie, and now the baby was here, though it will only bring more questions about where Sabrina may be.
The baby's arrival is also very conspicuous following the recent developments about Carlos. He seemed sure to get off on charges for murdering Duke, but after a threat from Sonny, he demanded to be moved to a new prison. Paul (Richard Burgi) then gave him the tools he needed to escape custody during the transport, which he did, after stabbing Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) with a pen, and bashing Nathan's (Ryan Paevy) head with a rock.
However, after his escape, he called Julian (William DeVry) for help, but that backfired on him when Julian stabbed him and kicked him into the water. Michael was the one who pulled him out and called for medical help, but it was too late, and Carlos later died at the hospital. Now the arrival of his baby with Sabrina will lead to some more questions about Sabrina's state, and whether or not she will ever willingly come back to town.
General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
