The Blacklist's Liz Keen needs to purchase a paternity test. Not for her own child, but for herself and Mr. Alexander Kirk.

It looks like Liz's (Megan Boone) father isn't dead after all, and, for that matter, neither is she. The Blacklist's leading lady received the Lazarus treatment in the season 3 finale, seemingly rising from the grave to start a new life with Tom (Ryan Eggold) and Agnes. Unfortunately, Mr. Kirk (Ulrich Thomsen) roped her right back into the world she was trying so desperately to escape. Curse! Foiled again.

It seems Kirk, aka Constantine Rostov, caught wind of his daughter's continued existence while she was auditioning for The Fugitive, and, once she was out from under Red's (James Spader) protection, he quickly managed to locate his offspring.

"All of this came about because of Liz being exposed to the world while she was on the run. Alexander Kirk had no idea where she was, if she was alive, where she was, but once that name was spoken to the world, Masha Rostova, he knew," executive producer Jon Bokenkamp told Entertainment Weekly. "None of this would have been possible had Liz not been exposed as Masha while being a fugitive on the run."

Despite suddenly begin ripped away from her husband/boyfriend and infant, Liz will likely take Kirk at his word. Even if she wants to get away from dear old Dad, she certainly isn't looking for Red to save her.

I mean, faking your death is the epitome of ghosting. That is 100 percent pure unadulterated rejection. Liz still has questions about Red and his connection to her, but she clearly wasn't getting them while playing his dangerous games.

"A stronger Liz will suffer the consequences of extricating him from her life, rather than wish for him to rescue her again," Boone told Entertainment Weekly. "That's not to say he won't, just that I think she's become braver and not a damsel in distress."

Find out what's next for Liz, her alleged Dad, and the rest of The Blacklist gang when season 4 comes to NBC this fall.
