'Young and the Restless' (Y&R) Spoilers: Lily Gives Hilary A Warning [VIDEO]
The secret has been exposed to more people about everything that actually went down between Hilary (Mishael Morgan), Devon (Bryton James) and Neil (Kristoff St. John), but the weight of knowing Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Lily (Christel Khalil) are aware of the truth will only cause more problems on The Young and the Restless.
Lily and Cane are still annoyed that Hilary has been using the fact that Neil kidnapped her from her honeymoon against him, and that the blackmail of telling everyone is what she's using to get ahead in life, both at Jabot and at Neil and Jack's (Peter Bergman) foundation. And now, after she continues seeing Hilary find ways to suck up to Jack and make him believe that she is the answer to everything the foundation needs, Lily will make sure to warn her sister-in-law that she isn't going to let her get away with her crimes forever.
"You may be able to charm Jack, but there is nothing you can do to shut me down," she warns Hilary in a preview clip for the Friday, May 20 episode.
However, Hilary won't back down, and will remind Lily that her father had kidnapped her, which is a worse crime than anything Hilary had committed, and she will taunt her with the fact that she could easily tell the police the truth, and get Neil locked up for a long time as a result.
Meanwhile, Neil isn't handling the situation as well as he'd hoped, because not only did Lily learning the truth strain the father and daughter's relationship, but Hilary is still being given the chance to try and run his life. As a result of the stress from Hilary's continued manipulations, he will fall off the wagon once again, and even Cane trying to force him to quit drinking so he doesn't hurt Lily again won't keep him from downing shots in the hope of drowning out his sorrow.
The Young and the Restless airs Monday-Friday at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
