'American Horror Story' Season 6: Evan Peters Reveals Which Character He Wants To Play Again [VIDEO]
Evan Peters would like to reprise one character on American Horror Story someday.
Peters has played a variety of different characters on American Horror Story since the beginning, including the psychopathic Tate Langdon in Murder House, the sympathetic inmate Kit Walker in Asylum, frat boy Kyle Spencer in Coven, "Lobster Boy" Jimmy Darling in Freak Show and sadistic hotel owner Mr. March in Hotel.
While Peters has never reprised any of these character in subsequent seasons, the actor recently admitted one character he'd like to play again.
"I'd want to play Tate," he said in a GoldDerby chat recently. "I want to see what's going on with that animal. [Is] he still in that house, trapped? Or maybe even see him, you know, before everything went totally haywire, to sort of see that lighter side of him. Maybe a little bit more about what turned him into what he became. I think that would be interesting. I don't know how [showrunners] would do that."
Peters' debut performance as Tate is still arguably one of the most memorable in the show's history. It also marked the actor's major debut as an adult actor.
The actor also spoke on wanting to work with one of his fellow Murder House co-stars again.
"I want to work again with Dylan McDermott. I really miss him," Peters admitted. "I had a blast working with him on the first season, and I thought he's such a great actor. And he was so nice, and I just really liked working with him a lot. I'd love to work with him again and see him come back as a more central role, you know? I think that would be amazing."
As for whether Peters will return for season 6, the actor has been playing coy but has mostly indicated that he is coming back in some capacity. Considering the show's new penchant for bringing back older characters, should we expect a Tate appearance? Only time will tell.
American Horror Story season 6 is set to premiere this fall on FX.
