It seemed like a sure thing that her husband was going to be brought in for Carlos' murder after the police found the dagger used in their home, but Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and those around her will be shocked when she and not Julian (William Devry) is arrested for the crime on General Hospital.

Sonny (Maurice Benard) was with Alexis when Nathan (Ryan Paevy) showed up to take her in, after her blood was found on the dagger, and he will insist that there must be some mistake and Nathan means to arrest Julian instead.

"You don't want Alexis," he says in a preview clip for the Monday, June 20 episode. "You want her husband."

However, with the evidence seeming to point in her direction, Nathan will have no choice but to bring her in. And though they're all shocked that Alexis is the one who they may be charging with the crime, Paul (Richard Burgi), Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) and Anna (Finola Hughes) will be waiting to learn what may have happened that night on the pier.

"I'm going to be very interested to hear what Alexis has to say," Anna says to them in the clip.

Meanwhile, the tension between Alexis and Julian lately, as she has struggled with going to the police and turning him in for that, as well as Hale's apparent overdose, hasn't gone unnoticed by their friends and family, and the fact that Alexis requested a divorce which Julian refuses to give is only further complicating matters. Now, Julian will have to answer to Olivia (Lisa LoCicero), when she checks in on him to see if everything is actually okay between the couple.

"What is going on between you and Alexis?" She asks in the clip.

However, Julian won't likely share the details with her so he can continue protecting his secret, similarly to how he is trying to also do so by convincing Nina (Michelle Stafford) to support his alibi for the night of Carlos' murder, by claiming he was with her at the Crimson offices when the attack occurred.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
