They've been secretly hooking up for some time with no intention of letting anyone know about their romance because of the problems it would cause, but as they continue to grow closer and have more influence over one another, Quinn (Rena Sofer) and Eric (John McCook) will risk the chance of being exposed on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Quinn has shared the truth with Deacon (Sean Kanan), and he has been laughing at her about it ever since because he can't believe she doesn't have an agenda up her sleeve when it comes to Eric. Now, Quinn will try to convince her ex that there is more to her relationship with Eric than just sex, and that she doesn't have an ulterior motive for sleeping with him.

"Eric fulfills me because he's a good, kind, decent man who treats me with respect," she says in a preview clip for the Friday, July 15 episode. ""Not like one of his playthings."

Meanwhile, Eric has taken her advice and named himself the new CEO of Forrester, a decision that Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) has expressed approval over. She's even figured out that it has something to do with a woman in his life, though she doesn't know who it is. And now, as Eric keeps the fact that it 's her own mother-in-law from her, Steffy will unknowingly express support for his secret relationship.

"I don't know who she is, but if she brings out this joy in you, then I'm happy for you," she says in the clip.

Meanwhile, Wyatt (Darin Brooks) is once again trying to defend his marriage to Steffy to Liam (Scott Clifton), who has suggested that Quinn will find a way to destroy the union before long, giving him the chance to be with Steffy again for himself. And Wyatt, unaware that his mother is in fact doing something that could jeopardize things for him, will continue defending her.

"She wants my marriage to Steffy to last alright? There's no way that she's going to do anything to screw that up," Wyatt says in the clip.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
