She's the one who has been the focus of so much hate because of the schemes she has pulled, but Hilary (Mishael Morgan) will find a way to turn the tables and the negative speculation away from herself on The Young and the Restless.

She was saved last minute from being removed from the board of the Winters-Abbott Foundation because she promised to settle the lawsuits that came from the failed drug protocol, and now, she will continue to try and restore some of the faith that at least Jack (Peter Bergmann) had in her by providing a one-million-dollar donation, but she won't stop there, as she wants to gain some trust from people like Lily (Cristel Khalil) to further secure her position. And though it could cost her other problems, she will decide to regain some composure by throwing Neil (Kristoff St. John) under the bus.

Lily has been struggling with a school project for her kids where they have to trace their family tree, because Neil won't provide any details or information about his own parents. After he leaves Lily again, Hilary will then tell her she has letters from Neil's mother for everyone that Neil threw out while they were married, and will show her the one addressed to her, as well as ones addressed to Devon (Bryton James) and the twins. Now, Lily will be stunned by the fact that her grandmother tried reaching out to her at one point, but she was never informed of the communication.

However, Hilary won't stop there when it comes to proving that Neil has been keeping secrets and telling lies to his family for a long time, and will seek him out to confront him about what it is he's actually hiding from everyone.

"You are the one that is keeping secrets and telling lies, so why Neil?" she asks in a preview clip for the Wednesday, Aug. 24 episode.

Finally, Neil will come clean to her about why he cut his parents, especially his mother, who was unfaithful, out, and it will give Hilary some insight as to why she has been judged so harshly for her own actions. However, even if he tells the truth to his children, the damages may already have been done and it will be too late to keep them from taking action of their own.

The Young and the Restless airs Monday-Friday at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
