His character was already taken off the canvas a year ago when he appeared to have been killed by Bo during a struggle, only to return a few months later with a story about what really happened to him, but it appears that Aiden Jennings (Daniel Cosgrove) will once again find himself headed off the canvas on Days of Our Lives.

According to reports, Cosgrove has once again been let go from the NBC soap, and will soon be off the canvas to join his son Chase (Jonathan McClendon) in Oregon, where he was sent to live as Aiden tried to work on a plan to win Hope (Kristian Alfonso) back and get her to move with him out of Salem for good. He has been working on blackmailing her into doing just that by using the recording he got of her admitting she murdered Stefano against her, threatening that if she doesn't reunite with him, then he will use it to bring down not only her, but Rafe (Galen Gering) and Roman (Josh Charles) as well, since they helped her cover up the crime.

However, it appears his attempts will eventually not be successful, and Hope will prevail when it comes to beating Aiden at his own game, which will send him off to Oregon.

Previously, the character was revealed to have been working with Stefano to seduce Hope and kill her after they married to get his hands on her lucrative insurance policy. The storyline came to a head last year during the show's 50th anniversary celebration, after the pair married and Aiden attempted to kill Hope by mimicking Ben's actions as the Necktie killer. His attempts were thwarted however when Bo suddenly returned and managed to shoot him. Aiden returned this past Spring however with a story that he had been kidnapped by the DiMeras and an imposter had actually tried to kill Hope instead, but the reunion he and Hope had was short-lived when his partnership with Andre (Thaao Penghlis) nearly led to both Hope and Rafe dying in an explosion.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
