'General Hospital' (GH) Spoilers: Jason & Sam Investigate Hayden's Shooting [VIDEO]
They are hoping to find some way to get his family's company back into their ownership, and after wondering if there was more to the story about Hayden's (Rebecca Budig) shooting, Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Jason (Billy Miller) will begin to investigate on General Hospital.
After learning that Hayden is really Rachel Berlin, and that Tracy (Jane Elliot) was blackmailing her into helping get ELQ back from Nikolas (Tyler Christopher), Jason wasn't entirely sure that she would be any help in his current mission. However, Sam began to float the theory that there were two gunmen at the scene—Shawn (Sean Blakemore), who was arrested for shooting Hayden and putting her into a coma for months, and an unknown second shooter. Now, operating under the impression that Shawn may really have been targeting Jason, and that Hayden was hit by a different bullet, she will suggest they go to Pentonville to talk to Shawn and get answers.
"We have a few questions to ask you if that's okay," she says to Sean in a preview clip for the Monday, April 4 episode.
However, Shawn may not be able to tell them that he saw someone else there, which would make it harder to prove his innocence, but he could tell them about Hayden's coming to visit him a while back, where she asked similar questions about that night.
With that knowledge in mind, Sam and Jason could realize that Hayden was also onto something about what happened to her, and they could decide that she might have suspected Nikolas of arranging the shooting since she had arrived at the garage that night to tell Jason who he really was. Since his identity wasn't public knowledge yet, and Nikolas had been keeping it a secret so he could keep control of ELQ, they may realize that he had hired a hitman to take down Hayden—and once they uncover evidence of such a hit going down, they could have the information they need to officially and finally remove Nikolas from power once and for all.
General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
